Pavel Rahman has competed in and won numerous competitions in his career as a Tabla player. His mentor respectable Sri Ajit Goshammee was a pathfinder of music era in Bangladesh. From the age of 14, Pavel started performing on stage. Afterward, he participated in a lot of musical shows all over Bangladesh. He worked with various famous music directors of Bangladesh like Abid Hossain, Golam Hossain, Debu Vottacharya and others. As an active Tabla player, Pavel Rahman performed in many series of concerts. Highlighted performances include SAARC summit concerto at the indoor stadium of Mirpur, Dhaka.
Pavel Rahman belongs to the new generation of musicians who believe to create an ultimate composition and adorn, colors of music as per lyricist philosophy. He believes music is a science of philosophy and religion. Although Music is an art, every sound has its own frequency, wavelength, measurement, and mathematically explanations. He composes the music according to time, nature and word for word and environment sustain.
Pavel worked with Radio Gaan Australia. So far he has published his compositions in four audio CDs in Bangladesh. His first audio CD was published in 2013. The first CD contains the songs sung by a brilliant little girl. The second one was the background music of recitation of poems. "Sada Canvas" was his third audio CD. It was a mixed album with folk, semi-classical, rock and modern type of the songs. His fourth audio CD was "3rd Eye".
Pavel graduated from the National University of Bangladesh. He served as a teacher in "Sargan Academy" and other prominent music schools. He is the coordinator of "Jay-Jayantee" and senior lecturer of music and visiting faculty of music in the University of Development Alternative (UODA), Dhaka.
